Oil Change Interval-As Needed

Every Chrysler Pacifica uses an Oil Change Indicator System to alert drivers when their vehicle is due for oil change service. There's no set oil change interval-just watch for this indicator and have your engine oil and filter changed when you see it.

At this point, you should tackle a few more maintenance items as well. At every oil change interval, your Pacifica will need:

  • Tire rotation
  • Battery inspection
  • Brake inspection (pads, shoes, rotors, drums, hoses, and park brake)
  • Engine cooling system inspection (protection and hoses)
  • CV/Universal joints inspection

20,000 Miles or 2 Years

Your Chrysler Pacifica has its first official maintenance interval at 20,000 miles or two years. At this point, you should replace the cabin air filter to keep the air circulating into your cabin clean and fresh. You can have your brake linings and the functionality of your parking brake inspected too.

30,000 Miles or 3 Years

At this next service interval, your Chrysler Pacifica will need the engine air filter replaced. The filter helps keep the engine free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants, so it can run efficiently and effectively. At this point, your Pacifica will also need the CV/Universal joints inspected.

100,000 Miles or 10 Years

While your other factory service intervals will repeat themselves in the intervening years and miles, no new services will be needed until 10 years or 100,000 miles. At this point, you should replace the spark plugs to ensure your Pacifica always starts when you need it to.

You'll also want to flush and replace the engine coolant at 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever comes first. This will help your engine continue to perform at its best without overheating.

150,000 Miles or 15 Years

Congratulations on making it to this maintenance interval. You're obviously a dedicated Chrysler Pacifica driver who takes good care of your minivan. Now, it's time to replace the front accessory drive belt, which is the part that drives the accessories in your engine-alternator, water pump, and more.

Have the front accessory drive tensioner and idler pulley inspected as well. They should be replaced if needed.
