Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Offers test drives to all prospects. Follows dealership procedure to obtain proper identification from customer prior to test drive.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Exhibits high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Knows and understands the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail automobile sales.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Establishes personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Keeps abreast of new products, features, accessories, etc., and their benefits to customers.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Knows and understands equity and values, and is able to explain depreciation to the customer.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensures that the sales manager has an opportunity to meet each customer.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Turns 100 percent of closed deals to finance and insurance manager, along with properly completed paperwork (insurance information, trade title etc.).
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Prepares sold vehicles for customer delivery prior to customer arrival.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Delivers vehicles to customers, ensuring that the customer understands the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Introduces customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Schedules first service appointment.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Follows up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, "we-owes" and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Reviews and analyzes actions at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.

Level 3 Service Tech
Functions as an experienced technician who is able to perform diagnoses and repairs of most vehicle components with little supervision required, and who has previously worked as a level 3 Chrysler Tech.Ā
Essential Duties
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Diagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repair.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the test technician.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ensures that customers' cars are kept clean. Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Keeps shop area neat and clean.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know etc.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Other tasks as assigned.
Ā
Education and/or Experience
Ā·Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
