To see a bite-sized portion of your SUV’s operations on your windshield, add a Head-Up Display. Unfortunately, once again, the Ford does not have this feature.

Get more power and more rugged versatility on any road or terrain with the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It provides three separate engines that ramp up your prowess as opposed to the two engine choices under the hood of the Ford Edge.

For the optimal level of horsepower and torque, the Jeep offers the available 2.0L I4 turbo engine. It produces 375 horsepower backed by 470 lb-ft of torque.

With the Ford, your best bet is the optional 2.7L EcoBoost® V6. When equipped, this available engine produces 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.

Depending on what you plan to bring along with you—watercraft, bikes, or other toys—the maximum towing capacity could make a big difference. The Jeep can tow a maximum of 7,200 pounds when properly equipped, while the Ford maxes out at 3,500 pounds.

The Jeep can also be equipped with a 4x4 system along with devices specially designed to work with the drivetrain. In the Ford, you’ll only get all-wheel drive.
